These programs are led and overseen by our Director of Youth Development - Mark Ridley. Mark is well known around the country and the world for his youth training. Here’s what others have to say about Mark:

“Mark Ridley is a major influencer in youth volleyball development. Prior to seeing his work, I didn’t think volleyball was a viable activity for youth under 10. His creativity of skill design and application of motor learning theory blends perfectly. Watching his training videos shows us that kids can learn to play volleyball in those early childhood development years. He’s completely changed my mind and continues to lead the way for all coaches looking to design youth programming. Done the right way, kids will thrive,  learn foundational movements that go beyond volleyball, and have a ton of fun! I want to thank Mark for sharing his passion and creativity with the volleyball community and look forward to learning more from his work.” - Mike Agee, Director of Volleyball, North Pacific Juniors

“In order to enjoy volleyball for a lifetime, it is very important that a solid foundation is laid under all necessary skills. Under Mark Ridley’s highly experienced supervision, starting and more advanced players will improve theirs skills step by step. RockCity Volleyball will be the place where our beautiful sport will be enjoyed with pleasure and will be combined with deep learning experiences.” - Arnold van Ree, Head Coach Talent Team Papendal, Jr National League Program, Dutch Volleyball Federation

“Mark has always been an inspiration through the creativity of his volleyball programs and the impact he’s had on the youth of the community. It’s great to see someone take an immense amount of pride in the level of effort that goes into high-impact player development while still providing an atmosphere that teaches a love of the game that can last a lifetime.” - David Benoit, Director, Vibe Volleyball Academy

“I’ve know Mark Ridley for almost 30 years. There are few coaches who have the passion for teaching and training that Mark has. He is constantly working to make himself a better coach and I love his video updates and education that he shares to support his players and help all of us be better coaches.” - Cheryl Butler, owner of GLV, Inc. and Sports Performance Volleyball, Aurora Illinois
